The Best Pizza Dough

I was getting a little tired of my old pizza dough.  So, I decided to change up the recipe some.  I came up with this wonderful pizza dough.  I love it.  You can use it for pizza, breadsticks, calzones, and much more.  I'm sure you will love it.  It is different from any other recipe I've ever tried for pizza dough.  It is well worth the extra ingredients.

The Best Pizza Dough
4 c of flour
1 packet of yeast
1/2 c lukewarm water
1/4 c olive oil
1/2 c shredded cheese (finely shred mozzarella or whatever you like on your pizza)
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 tsp oregano
1 c water

Yes, it is different but it is delicious.
Put the flour in your mixing bowl.
Make a little well in the flour.
Add the lukewarm warm.
Sprinkle the yeast on top of the water.
Mix the yest in water, while barely mixing in any flour.
Let stand a few minutes until it starts to bubble up.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix.
You might want to add the water a little bit at a time.
You may need to add a little more or less water.
Mix until the dough no longer sticks to the sides of the bowl.
Place dough in a bowl lightly greased, and cover.
Let sit in a warm place until dough doubles in size.
Preheat oven to 450.
Divide dough into 2 or 3 balls depending on how thin you like your pizza.
Pat out or roll out to form your pizza.
Place on pizza pan or pizza stone.  (You might want to place you pizza stone in the oven to get hot first for a crispier crust. If you want a thicker crust, let it rise again for a few minutes to your desired thickness.)
Brush the crust with olive oil.
Add your pizza sauce.  You can make your own with tomato sauce, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning.
Add your cheese, and toppings (whatever you like).
Place in oven for about 10 minutes until the crust is a light brown and your cheese is bubbly and light brown.
Enjoy the fruits of your effort.  :)
