Save on Textbooks with Campus Book Rentals

Well, it is that time again.  College classes will be starting again in another week or so, if they haven't already started for you.  It is so expensive these days.  While tuition, room and board are the most expensive parts of college, textbooks are probably the next biggest expense.  Sometimes I don't see how people can afford college.  It is getting more expensive every year, but where there is a will there is a way.  I know this firsthand.

My husband and I both went back to school full time when our youngest was just a year old.  We were both able to go to school full time, work 3 jobs between us, and raise 3 kids.  It was difficult but we made it work.  Unfortunately, when we went back there weren't as many ways to save on textbooks as there are now.  Well, at least, not that I knew of.

Now, our oldest daughter is finishing up her MBA, my son is back in school working on his bachelor's, and my youngest graduates high school in May and will be heading off to college in the fall.  We don't have the money to help them out.  We've always told them it was up to them if they wanted to go to college and that they would be responsible for all costs.  Besides, I truly believe that they will work harder and appreciate it more if they are footing the bill.  I do try to help them by helping them find scholarships, and ways to save money.

One of the best ways, I've found for them to save money is with Campus Book Rentals.  There are so many things that I like about Campus Book Rentals.  You will save loads of money by renting, anywhere from 40-90%.  You even get free shipping both ways.  They have a 30 day risk free return policy, too.  That means if you drop a class or see that you will not need the book you can return it at no cost.  If you refer friends, you can even earn some money.

Campus Book Rentals is a company that pays it forward.  What do I mean?  Well, they make a donation to Operation Smile for each and every book rental.  If you don't know about Operation Smile, they are a wonderful organization that provides free surgeries for children with cleft lips.  In addition, they have set up a textbook scholarship program.

Finally, they have set up a wonderful new program called Rent Back.  This program lets you rent the textbooks that you own to other students.  This means that you can make 2-4 times more money then you would if you sold your textbook back to your school bookstore.
