What:  Kidz Kabaret Performance Workshop with Travis Guillory

Where:  Cite Des Arts, 109 Vine Street, Downtown Lafayette

When:  January 6-February 7th 2014

Who:  Registration is open for Kidz Kabaret classes at Cité des Arts for children ages 8-13.

Kidz Kabaret is a theatre education program that showcases the theatrical talent of children in grades 4 through 8. The goal is to give each child an opportunity to perform while learning about all aspects of musical theatre through specific curriculums. It focuses on the individual child and his or her unique talents and abilities.

Over the course of five weeks, kids will meet once a week in small classes with an instructor at Cité des Arts (109 Vine St., Lafayette). The children will each choose one song from a musical or movie musical or monologue, rehearse it, and perform it in front of a live audience. This is not a voice lesson; it's not an acting workshop; it's not a dance class. It's all three - musical theatre. It's Kidz Kabaret!
