Here is the 2nd post in my series of Vinegar uses. Like I said yesterday, I plan on doing a few post on the many uses of vinegar, and then on other common household items. Today we are going to work on vinegar uses for your tools and car.
- Use the vinegar full strength to polish the chrome on your car.
- If you are tired of waking up to frost on your car windows in the morning, then use 3 parts vinegar to one part water on your windows. Put it on the night before to keep them frost free.
- Remove bumper stickers. Use full strength vinegar to soak the bumper sticker. Use an old credit card or one of those fake ones you get in the mail to remove sticker. Repeat if necessary.
- Clean windshield wipers. Wipe the wipers with a rag soaked in vinegar.
- Clean Car mats and carpeting. Use equal parts water and vinegar to clean stains, salt residue, and ground in dirt. soak the stains, let sit a few minutes, then blot up.
- Do you have someone that forgets tools outside. I don't know anyone like that in my house (lol). Well, if you have some tools or other instruments with some rust on them, you can use some diluted vinegar to clean the tools. You might need to soak them for a little bit to get the rust off. You might want to wipe the tools down with a little bit of oil before putting them away.
