Update: Homemade Febreeze Fabric Spray

If you like all of these great freebies and deals, make sure you sign up for my newsletter.

You might have seen my previous post on how to make homemade Febreeze.  Well, I have improved it.  At least, I like it much better.  It may be a little more expensive but still a lot cheaper than what you would pay at the store.  I think it is better than Febreeze.

This one calls for Downy Unstoppables.  I know it is a little expensive but I love the smell.  Besides, if you use it just for this recipe.  It will last a long, long time.  A little goes a long way.

Here is the updated recipe.  I know you will love it.

Ingredients:
1/8-1/4 c fabric softener
4-6 tbsp of baking soda
1/2 a cap full of Downy Unstoppables
hot water
spray bottle (reuse one of those old Febreeze spray bottles)

Mix the fabric softener and baking soda in your bottle.  If you have one of the smaller bottles use the lower amount.  If you have a bigger bottle, use more fabric softener and baking soda.  Then add some hot water, and your Downy Unstoppables.  Fill up the rest of the bottle with hot water.  Shake to mix all of the ingredients.

Before using you may need to shake if it has been sitting awhile and you notice that it has separated some.
