I recently checked out Deal Dash for this post. I was a little skeptical at first. I think we all know that these little auction sites don't really cost a penny. However, I really was surprised when I checked it out. I was able to get some great deals for Christmas. I was able to get a $10 Walmart gift card for a penny plus one bid. I think the bid cost me $.15. That is what I call a great deal.
The best thing to do when just starting is to bid on one of the ones that is just for new bidders. These are easier to win because everyone can't bid on them or even see them. Also, you need to take time to watch how people bid on the auctions for everyone before joining. You really can get some great deals.
One word of caution, though, Deal Dash can become addictive. I ended up spending a lot more time than I planned on the website. There are so many things that you can bid on but I have to say that my favorites are gift cards.
In addition, you never have to pay for shipping. I love free shipping. It looks like they are always having sales on bids, too, or of course, you might win bids in one of the auctions.
