Thrifty Tip - Static Cling & Fabric Sheets

Do you use fabric sheets?  If so, did you know that you can make them last longer by cutting the sheets in half?  You can even try cutting the sheets in thirds.  They will work just as well when you use only a third or half of a sheet of fabric softener.

This one is especially great for those that live in dry climates.  They tend to have more problems with static cling.  If you are having a problem with static cling, there is another easy fix, a safety pin.  All you need to do is pin a safety pin to the hem of your pants or skirt, etc.  Of course, you could always sew a little washer into the hem of clothing to battle static cling.  It is a very easy fix.

I know it is only a couple of dollars but a couple of dollars is a couple of dollars.  By cutting a couple of dollar here and a couple of dollars there, you could have enough to pay say your water bill or have more money in savings.  Every penny counts in this economy (really any economy).
