Sorry, I've been MIA all day. My husband and daughter didn't have school today. It is fall break. In fact, tomorrow my daughter will be out of school again. My husband has to go but it will be for parent/teacher conferences.
Anyway, we had to take my daughter Homecoming shopping. It was kind of nice because the three of us got to spend some time together. We actually purchased a dress online but it still hasn't gotten here. Her dance is Saturday. When we called about her dress, they said it might or might not be here on time. It is on back order. Needless, to say we canceled the order.
We didn't find what she wanted but we did find one that she likes. She wanted a white one shoulder dress. She ended up with a black dress with some turquoise. I will try to post a picture later. She's actually taking a nap right now.
It's been a long weekend for her, and will be a longer week. We had a Canadian girl that was here with a French delegation. She got here Wednesday and left early this morning. It was non stop activities from the time she got here until she left. Of course, Brittany (my daughter) had a great time; she is just tired.
Then this week Brittany had dance on Mon. & Wed., and babysits Tues. & Thurs. Then she has the Homecoming game on Friday, and the dance on Saturday. So, that is why we had to do everything today. We were able to find everything, dress, shoes, earrings, ring, and bracelet, thankfully.
