I wanted to apologize because I haven't posted anything in several days. It has been a chaotic week. My youngest started high school (it doesn't seem possible). In addition, this means my husband went back to school. He teaches speech, debate, & drama. Things were chaotic. We had to go get uniforms, school supplies, get back on schedule, etc.
Then my brother and his family came to town. We rarely get to see each other. He lives in Wisconsin (a long way from here). Normally, we only get to see each other once every couple of years. It just seems like we never have the time or money to visit. It was wonderful getting to spend time with him and the family. My sister and her kids even came in from New Orleans.
My oldest came home from Jackson. She is getting ready to go back to school this week. After my brother and sister left, we spent most of our time trying to get her stuff packed. This entailed having to get in the attic (a pain in the neck). We don't have a normal attic access. We have to get a big ladder and unscrew the attic access.
Yesterday, after my daughter left I got to spend some great quality time with my son. We took his computer to get fixed. Then we went shopping to find some shorts. This is very unusual because he hates to go shopping for clothes. After that, he treated me to dinner and a movie. It was a wonderful time. I can't believe he starts college next week.
So, as you can see, things have been a little chaotic. I had a weekend filled with family and amazing memories. While I didn't get much done with the blog, I felt that spending time with my family was more important. I hope that all of you get to spend some quality time with your families.
