Kashless is a place to give and receive free items. It is available in several major cities. I looked at New Orleans and there plenty of great items. Take a look and see what you can find.
I just checked this out and they have closed down this site, due to lack of funds to keep the site going. Too bad, it's such a good idea and I can't seem to get onto Freecycle in my area anymore.
